The Introduction of Vaseline /Petrolatum :
Vaseline is a semi liquid mixture of alkanes or saturated hydrocarbons, also known as petrolatum, produced by distillation of petroleum. Its state is between solid and liquid at room temperature, and it has three colors: brown, yellow, and white due to different uses. Natural Vaseline is extracted from concentrated petroleum residues such as heavy oils of alkanes; Artificial Vaseline is a mixture of self used pure ground wax, paraffin wax, and paraffin grease that thickens mineral oil. Vaseline has a mineral oil odor, but no kerosene odor. Can be used as raw materials for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as for machine lubrication
