The Introduction of Arbutin:
Arbutin, commonly known as arbutin or arbutin, is a monoglucose form of hydroquinone that exists in the leaves of pear trees in the Rosaceae family and bear fruit plants in the Rhododendron family. Arbutin can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase and is an active ingredient with good biological activity in plants, making it one of the main raw materials in major whitening cosmetics series both domestically and internationally.
It appears as a white needle shaped crystal or powder. Extracted from the leaves of bear fruit, it can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase in the body, prevent the generation of melanin, reduce skin pigment deposition, remove pigmentation and freckles, and also have bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects.
