The Introductction of Urolithin A :
Urolithin A is produced by gut flora and is a natural metabolite of a class of compounds called ellagitannins that are found in pomegranates and some other fruits and nuts. Related studies have shown that urolithin A is a powerful intestinal metabolite that can restore mitochondria and reverse muscle aging.
The Function of Urolithin A :
1.Urolithin A is not known to be found in any food source. Its bioavailability mostly depends on individual microbiota composition, as only some bacteria are able to convert ellagitannins into urolithins.
