Sodium lauroyl hydroxymethylethanesulfonate is a new type of anionic surfactant, which is an improved product of coconut oil based hydroxyethyl sulfonate sodium. It belongs to the category of fatty acyl oxyethyl sulfonate sodium surfactants. Sodium lauroyl hydroxyethyl sulfonate, also known as iJieBang A. Anionic surfactants. Melting point between 216 and 218 ℃. Surface tension (0.1% banyan solution, 25 ℃) 46.6mN/m, insensitive to hard water, good foam performance and decontamination, good affinity for human skin. It is prepared by reacting lauryl chloride with sodium ethylsulfonate under pressure at 70-90 ℃. Can be used in cosmetics and detergent formulations, often mixed with soap to make synthetic soap
