The Application & Function of Ferulic Acid :
1. Ferulic acid can not only inhibit the activity of melanocyte B16V, but also inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, double whitening effect, and the combination of two ferulic acids is tetrahydro curcumin (tetrahydro curcumin is the main whitening active ingredient in natural turmeric root extract, with strong tyrosinase inhibitory activity).
2. The phenolic hydroxyl of ferulic acid can effectively capture free radicals, and has a good scavenging effect on superoxide radicals and hydroxyl radical.
3. Ferulic acid can be used as a natural sunscreen agent, with strong absorption of UV rays ranging from 290 to 350 nm, which can prevent or reduce skin damage caused by UV rays in this wavelength range.
4. The main effect of ferulic acid is to reduce the production of fine lines, wrinkles, and other early signs of aging. Theoretically, all those who need anti-aging and want to protect their skin from free radicals can use this ingredient. Its other name is hydroxycinnamic acid.
