Fructose is the simple ketone monosaccharides found in many plants, which are often combined with glucose to form sucrose disaccharide.
Fructose, a monosaccharide, is an isomer of glucose with the chemical formula C6H12O6. It exists in a large number of free states in fruit juice and honey. Fructose can also combine with glucose to form sucrose.
 

The Application & Function

High fructose corn syrup

All three products are liquid, with HFC-S42 containing 42% fructose, 52-55 % glucose, 6-8 % oligosaccharides and 71% solids. HFC-S55 contains 55% fructose, 40% glucose, 4% oligosaccharides and 77% solids. HFC-S90 contains 90% fructose, 8% glucose, 1% oligosaccharide and 80% solids.
