The Introduction of Inulin
Inulin molecules consist of approximately 31 β- D-furan fructose and 1-2 pyrethroid residues are polymerized, and fructose residues can pass through β- 2,1-key connection. It is made from D-fructose β Linear linear chain polysaccharide linked by (1 → 2) glycosidic bond, often with a glucose residue at the end, with a DP of 2~60. Inulin with an average DP ≤ 9 is also called short chain inulin. Inulin extracted from natural plants contains both long chain and short chain [1]. The molecular formula of inulin is expressed as GFn, where G represents the terminal glucose unit, F represents the fructose molecule, and n represents the number of units of fructose.
