Introductction:

Function:
Aspartame can enhance the flavor of some food and beverage, especially the sour fruit flavor. Sensory evaluation showed that it had better synergistic effect on natural flavor than synthetic flavor. When applied to certain foods, this flavor enhancing property could reduce the amount of aspartame used, and could also satisfy some special needs of products such as chewing gum. Chewing gum made with aspartame lasted four times longer than that made with sucrose.
