What is Disodium phosphonomycin Powder?
Pharmacological effects of fosfomycin sodium
1. It has broad antibacterial spectrum, high bioavailability, fast absorption, strong antibacterial power and is not affected by diet. It has a killing effect on both Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria, especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli that are resistant to various drugs. Used in animals, there is no drug resistance or cross-resistance, and the clinical treatment effect is good.
2. Rapid sterilization: This product is a rapid sterilizer, and its effect is obvious after 1-2 hours. About 25% of E. coli were killed 1 hour after exposure to fosfomycin (12. Chemicalbook 5 μg/ml), and all died within 4-6 hours. Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus were also completely killed in 4 and 8 hours respectively.
