Decoquinate is a veterinary drug used as an anticoccidial.
Decoxyquinate plays a role in the asexual reproduction stage of coccidia. After entering the coccidial spore cells, it prevents its development by interfering with DNA synthesis. It begins to play a role in the early life cycle of coccidial coccidia, so as to avoid damage to the intestinal tract of poultry. The drug is rapidly absorbed, and the effective concentration of anticoccidial can be reached within 1 hour, and the concentration reaches the peak level after 3 days. Decoxyquinate (6% premix) 40mg/kg, 30mg/kg, 20mg/kg feed mixed with AA broilers artificially inoculated with Eimeria tenella monton strain, and compared with maduramycin Observation, the results show that the anti-coccidial index of decoquinate is greater than 180, which is a highly effective drug.
