Rafoxanide is a kind of halogenated salicylanilide insecticide. It mainly blocks the oxidative phosphorylation process of hepatic fluke and paralyze and kill the fluke.
Function:
Veterinary medicine. The effects of oral administration of 7.5mg/kg on fluke hepatis at different weeks of age were as follows: the adult rate of fluke hepatis at 12 weeks of age reached 100%; 86%-99% immature larvae at 6 weeks of age; 50%-98% of 4 weeks old. The same effect was observed for fasciola hepatica at the above dosage. Because this product has certain curative effect on fluke filamentum of 4 ~ 6 weeks of age. Therefore, it is better than other simple insecticidal drugs. The efficacy of iodoxylamine was more than 99% in adult and immature fluke of sheep at 8 weeks and 10 weeks of age. However, the effective rate was only about 50% for 6-week-old worms. In addition, this product is also suitable for the treatment of blood lance disease and sheep nose myiasis. The effective rate was more than 96% for adult and immature C. sanguinalis and C. laminalis. The effective rate of parasitic larvae was 98%.
