The Introductction of Dinitolmide
Dinitolmide is a nitrobenzamide compound, which is an anticoccidial drug with both preventive and therapeutic effects. It is effective against a wide range of Eimeria species in chickens, and is particularly effective against Eimeria virulentis and Eimeria tenderis. It mainly inhibits the 1st generation of lysosomes, and the peak of action is at the proliferation stage of lysosomes in the 2nd asexual reproductive stage of coccidia (i.e., the 3rd day after infection), and also inhibits the formation of ascospores in oocysts.
Dinitolmide is white or light yellowish-brown powder, odorless, bitter in taste. Melting point 181℃. Soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water.
Precautions:
1. The size of dinitolmide powder particles is the main factor affecting the anti-coccidial effect, clinical application should be very fine powder.
2. This product often causes recurrence of coccidiosis after 5-6 days of drug withdrawal, so it must be used continuously.
3. The rest period for broiler chickens is 3 days.
4. If the amount added to the feed exceeds 250 mg/kg, the weight gain of chicks can be inhibited if fed continuously for more than 15 days.
5. Forbidden for laying hens during the egg-laying period.
The Application & Function of Dinitolmide
Dinitolmide, as an anticoccidial drug, is effective in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in livestock and poultry.
Dinitolmide has a small dosage, no side effects, no toxicity, stable performance and does not decompose when added to feed. In addition to the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis, it can also promote the weight gain of poultry (weight gain rate 13.8%) and improve the utilization rate of feed.
Dinitolmide dissolved in water has an appetizing aroma to anorexic sick chickens and has excellent effect of medication. Usage and dosage can be 62g of this product in 1t of feed mixed, used for chickens and other poultry, livestock feeding, prevention amount reduced by half.
Dissolve 4g of Dinitolmide in 10kg of water and use it for drinking for chickens and other poultry and livestock, and reduce the amount of prevention by half.
Dinitolmide can be used in chicken feed, the maximum dosage is 62.0g/t. It is prohibited during the egg-laying period and the withdrawal period is 3 days.
