What is aminophenazone ?

Aminophenazone is a pyrazolone with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties but has risk of agranulocytosis.
White or almost white crystalline powder; odorless, slightly bitter taste; case of light variable quality; aqueous solution alkaline reaction.
Main ingredients This product is a compound preparation, which consists of: each tablet contains aminopyrin 150mg, phenacetin 150mg, caffe 50mg, phenobartal 1.mg.
This product is used for fever, arthralgia, neuralgia, headache, migraine, dysmenorrhea and other mild to moderate pain caused by cold, especially for patients who are allergic to aspirin or not suitable for aspirin (such as chickenpox, hemophilia, hemorrhagic diseases, anticoagulant therapy, peptic ulcer, gastritis, etc.).
Both aminopyrin and phenacetin contained in this compound have obvious adverse reactions. Taking aminopyrine can have vomiting, rash, fever, a lot of sweating and stomatitis, a few can cause neutrophil deficiency, aplastic anemia, exudative erythema, exudative dermatitis, glans erosion, etc. Long-term use of phenacetin can cause renal papillary necrosis, interstitial nephritis and acute renal failure, and may even induce renal pelvis and bladder cancer, as well as drug dependence. Phenacetin also easily causes hemoglobin to form methemohemoglobin, so that the oxygen carrying capacity of blood decreases, leading to cyanosis, but also can cause hemolysis, liver damage, and has certain toxicity to the retina.
Contraindicated for those allergic to aminopyrine, phenacetin, caff, or phenoital drugs.
(1) Long-term use of this product may lead to renal damage, and in severe cases may cause renal papillary necrosis or uremia, and may even induce renal pelvis cancer and bladder cancer. It should not be used for a long time to avoid neutrophil deficiency. Blood examination should be performed regularly for more than 1 week.
(2) Aminopyrin interacts with food under gastric acid, which can form carcinogenic nitroso compounds, especially nitrosamines, so it has potential carcinogenicity.
(3) Long-term use can lead to dependence and tolerance.
(4) It is ineffective for various traumatic pain and visceral smooth muscle colic.
It is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
Drug use in children is unclear.
Elderly medicatio opyrin and phenacetin, and prevent convulsions caused by fever.

Drug toxicology is a compound antipyretic and analgesic. Aminopyrine and phenacetin can inhibit the synthesis and release of hypothalamus prostaglandins, restore the normal responsiveness of central sensory neurons and play an antipyretic role. At the same time, it also plays an analgesic effect by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins. Aminopyrin can inhibit the synthesis and release of prostaglandins in inflammatory local tissues, stabilize lysosomal enzymes, affect the phagocytosis of phagocytes and play an anti-inflammatory role. Coffee because of central nervous excitatory drug, can excite cerebral cortex, improve the induction to the outside world, and have the contraction of cerebrovascular, strengthen the first two drugs to relieve the effect of headache. Phenobital has sedative, hypnotic and anticonvulsant effects, and can enhance the analgesic effect of aminopyrin and phenacetin, and prevent convulsions caused by fever.
Pharmacokinetics was not tested and no reference data were available.
Store in airtight and dry place.

Function:

Aminophenazone is a pyrazolone with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties but has risk of agranulocytosis. A breath test with 13C-labeled aminopyrine has been used as a non-invasive measure of cytochrome P-450 metabolic activity in liver function tests.

Application:
Aminopyrine as antipyretic analgesic anti-inflammatory drug pyrazole ketones, inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin E1 in the front of the hypothalamus neurons and release, to restore the normal reaction of the temperature regulating center feeling neurons and antifebrile effect; Amidopyrine also inhibit inflammation in local tissue of prostaglandin synthesis and release, stabilize lysosomal membrane, influence the phagocytosis of phagocytic cells, and have anti-inflammatory effect.

Aminopyrine is a pyrazolone drug with strong antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It is usually used in clinical practice for emergency fever reduction, and can relieve headache, migraine, muscle and joint pain, toothache, dysmenorrhea and other mild and moderate pain. In addition, it can also be used in the treatment of acute rheumatoid arthritis.

The use of aminopyrine contraindications include the prohibition of the use of this drug or pyrazolone, pregnant women should also be prohibited, so as not to affect the normal growth and development of the fetus, lactating women need to use the drug, can suspend breastfeeding, to avoid affecting the growth and development of the baby. Aminopyrine can also inhibit the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow, so it is prohibited for people with a history of blood or allergies to other drugs. When the drug is used alone, it can cause agranulocytosis, so it needs to be combined with phenacetin, cafne and other drugs to make a compound preparation before use.

In addition, regular blood tests should be carried out during the medication, and if abnormal blood changes occur, the medication should be stopped in time. For children, the elderly and the infirm, it is necessary to use this drug carefully to reduce the chance of adverse reactions such as rash and rapid heart rate.
