CAS 116714-46-6 Novaluron Powder Pesticides Raw Materials Powder
The Introductction
novaluron is the third largest benzoylurea insecticide and was marketed by Maxim Agam (now Adama) in 1999. Fluorylurea was originally developed by Itseg in Italy, which then resold its ownership to Maxim Chemical Engineering LTD., where it was redeveloped and commercialized under the trade name Rimon. When used in low doses, fluorylurea showed high activity against lepidoptera (Cucurbita, cabbage moth, apple moth, etc.), beetle (potato beetle), hemiptera (whitefly), leaf bugs and other pests. It was mainly used in cotton, potato, citrus, corn, apple, cruciferous cabbage, tomato, eggplant and other solaniferous crops.

The Application & Function
Novaluron, also known as diphenylurea, is a new type of fluorine-containing insect growth regulator, belongs to benzoylurea, can prevent the growth of insects during the molting stage of chitin synthesis, thus affecting insect molting, so that pests can not form a new skin during molting, resulting in the death of the insect body is deformed. In addition, it can regulate the growth and development of insects, inhibit molting metamorphosis and inhibit the eating speed of pests, and has high ovicidal activity.
In addition to being developed as a single component in the form of emulsion, suspension and other formulations, Novaluron can also be combined with bifenthrin, acetamidine, imidacloprid and other bulk insecticides. In the 2017 planting season, Adama passed the combination of fluoracylurea and chloramidine in the United States, which is mainly used for the control of pests such as moth, pear psyllid and leaf rolling moth on apple trees. At present, there is only one company registered in China, Adau Maxime Co., LTD., and the dosage forms are 98.5% fluoracylurea, 10% biphenyl and fluoracylurea suspension, and 16% acetanilide and fluoracylurea cream.
