The Introductction of IMIDACLOPRID
Imidacloprid, also known as imidacloprid, aphid net, pox, and bidan, is a highly effective systemic broad-spectrum insecticide, with stomach poisoning and touching effects, and a long shelf life, and has a good control effect on stinging-sucking mouthparts.
Imidacloprid pure product is white or colorless crystal with faint odor, melting point 143.8℃(crystal form 1), 136.4℃(crystal form 2). relative density 1.543 at 20℃. solubility: 0.51g/l in water, 50~100g/l in methylene chloride, 1~2g/l in isopropyl alcohol, 0.5~1g/l in toluene, less than 0.1g/l in n-hexane. Stable in pH 5~11 environment. The active ingredient content of the original drug ≥ 80%, the appearance of light orange crystals, melting point of 128 ~ 132 ℃, pH 6.5 ~ 7.5.
Imidacloprid is a completely new compound with a new structure, and its point of action in insects is the insect nicotinic acid acetylcholinesterase receptor, which interferes with the motor nervous system of pests, which is completely different from the mechanism of action of traditional insecticides, so there is no cross-resistance. The drug is mainly used to control stinging-sucking mouthparts pests on rice, wheat, cotton and other crops.
Imidacloprid is a nitro-methylene-based systemic insecticide, which is an actor of nicotinic acid acetylcholinesterase receptor, and is used to control stinging-suction mouthparts pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, lice, thrips, whiteflies and their resistant strains. It is also effective against Coleoptera, Diptera and Lepidoptera. It is not active against nematodes and red spiders.
Due to its excellent systemic properties, imidacloprid is particularly suitable for seed treatment and application as a granule. It provides early and continuous control of pests on cereal crops, corn, rice, potatoes, sugar beets and cotton, and foliar sprays for late growth of the above crops and citrus, deciduous fruit trees and vegetables. Foliar spray has excellent effect on black-tailed leafhopper, lice (rice brown louse, gray louse, white-backed louse), aphids (peach aphid, cotton aphid) and thrips (greenhouse hedge thrips), as well as whitefly, rice stem borer, rice negative mudworm and rice weevil, better than thiazinon, etherthrin, antiphlogiston and fenitrothion. Toxic soil treatment at 1.25 mg/kg (ppm) in soil can control peach aphid on cabbage and bean weevil aphid on broad beans for a long time; granules treated with 1 gAI/kg in seedling box have excellent control against rice leafhopper and flying louse; treatment with 1 gAI/kg seed can control bean aphid and cotton aphid for at least 5 weeks.
