The Introductction
Flufenoxuron is an inhibitor of chitin synthesis and can be used as a benzoylurea insecticide. Flufenoxuron reduces chitin synthesis, molting and egg hatching, thereby preventing insect development.
Product Name: | flufenoxuron |
Synonyms: |
N-[[4-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-2-fluorophenyl]carbamoyl]-2,6-difluorobenzamide |
CAS: | 101463-69-8 |

The Application & Function
Flufenuron is mainly used to control pests and mites on fruit trees such as apple and citrus, vegetables, cotton and other plants, and has a good control effect on leaf mites, rust mites (rust spiders), leaf miners, diamond-moth, cabbage worms, cotton bollworm, food worms, noctura moths and locusts.
Flufenuron belongs to benzoyl urea insecticide, is a synthetic inhibitor of chitin, its insecticidal activity, insecticidal spectrum and action rate are characteristic, and has a good leaf surface retention. In particular, it has high activity on immature mites and pests, and is widely used in citrus, cotton, grapes, soybeans, fruit trees, king rice and coffee, to prevent and control phytophagous mites (Acanthoid mites, brachypalpate mites, panonychus mites, rust mites, red leaf mites, etc.) and many other pests, and has good durability, and is safe for predatory mites and insects. The average dose used was 5 to 10g(a.i.)/ha or 20 to 40g(a.i.)/ha. In the field, the doses of 10 ~ 30g (a.i.) /ha were used to control the apple and pear leaf miner mites on apple trees and citrus trees.
Due to the slow killing effect of the drug, the application time should be 2-3 days earlier than the general insecticide and acaricide, the application of the drug to prevent and control the insect pests from the peak stage of egg hatching to the young insects before entering the crop, and the application of the drug to prevent and control the mites should be applied at the peak stage of young mites and mites.
