The Introductction
Pyridaben is a METI acaricide that inhibits complex I(METI; Mitochondrial electron transfer of Ki=0.36 nmol/mg protein in rat brain mitochondria. Pyridarben is active against a variety of mites and is administered via filter paper contact at doses of 25, 100 and 200 mg/m3, respectively, resulting in filaria malayi, Trypanosoma farsii and putrel T. 100% mortality rate.
Pyridaben is a broad spectrum, tactile acaricide, which can be used to prevent and control multi-planting and feeding mites. It has a good effect on the whole growth period of mites, namely eggs, young mites, small mites and adult mites, and also has an obvious quick-killing effect on the adult mites in the moving period. The drug is not affected by temperature changes, whether it is used in early spring or autumn, it can achieve full effect.

The Application & Function
Pyridaben is High efficiency, broad spectrum acaricide, no internal absorption, has obvious control effect on leaf mites, panonychus mites, microonychus mites and gall mites and other phytophagous pests, and is effective on eggs, mites, adult mites, and adult mites, and also effective on the movement of adult mites. Suitable for citrus, apple, pear, hawthorn, cotton, tobacco, vegetables (except eggplant) and ornamental plants. For example, when it is used to prevent and control rusty ticks such as citrus and apple red spider, pear and hawthorn, it can be applied during the occurrence of mites (in order to improve the control effect, it is best to use 2 to 3 heads per leaf), and 20% wettable powder or 15% cream is diluted to 50 to 70mg/L(2300 to 3000 times) spray. The safe interval is 15 days, that is, the drug should be stopped 15 days before harvest.
