The Introduction of Butachlor :
Butachlor is an organic compound with the Molecular formula of C17H26ClNO2, which is a selective pre bud herbicide. Annual Poaceae weeds and some broad-leaved weeds mainly used for control of direct seeding or transplanting paddy fields. There is also selectivity for wheat, barley, sugar beet, cotton, peanuts, and cabbage crops. The Effective dose is 1.0-4.5kg (Active ingredient) per hectare. It is generally used for soil surface treatment before sprouting, and can also be applied after paddy field seedlings. It is an important variety of herbicides in rice fields.
The Application of Butachlor:
Butachlor is an amide selective internal absorption conduction herbicide. Difficult to dissolve in water, easily soluble in various organic solvents. Stable chemical properties at room temperature and under neutral and weakly alkaline conditions. Under strong acid conditions, it accelerates its decomposition and can be degraded in soil. Low toxicity to humans and animals, irritating to the skin and eyes, and high toxicity to fish.
