Betamethasone, also known as pertamethasone, bercortisol, beflumethasone, perflumethasone, belongs to the class of adrenocorticotropic hormones, is a tautomer of dexamethasone, with the same effects as prednisolone and dexamethasone, and has a variety of pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, anti-allergic and immunosuppressive, etc. The anti-inflammatory effect is stronger than that of dexamethasone, trenbolone, hydrocortisone, etc., and can The anti-inflammatory effect of betamethasone 0.3mg is comparable to that of dexamethasone 0.75mg, prednisone 5mg or cortisone 25mg.
Betamethasone is a tautomer of dexamethasone and has the same effects and uses as dexamethasone acetate, but its sodium and water retention effects and dose are smaller than the latter.
