The Introductction
Chlorpheniramine Maleate is a small molecule H1-receptor antagonist. Increased ornithine decarboxylase activity induced in an is chemia-reperfusion state was attenuated by Chlorpheniramine Maleate, indicating that this increase is mediated through engagement of the H1-receptor by histamine. Histamine-mediated repair of intestinal mucosa following ischemia-reperfusion was also demonstrated to operate through the H1-receptor with Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Induction of ornithine decarboxylase was blocked by Chlorpheniramine Maleate in Ehrlich carcinoma and MCF-7 cells. The positive inotropic effect of H1-receptor stimulation by histamine on protein tyrosine phosphorylation in guinea pig left atrium was antagonized by Chlorpheniramine Maleate.
The Application & Function
1. The antihistamine effect of this product is better than that of diphenhydramine and promethazine, the dosage is small, and the side effects are mild. It is used for urticaria, vasodilation rhinitis, colds, asthma, rhinitis, contact dermatitis, and also used for allergies, insect bites and motion sickness caused by drugs and food.
2. Antihistamines. Similar to clodromic, brompheniramine is also an antihistamine. The production method of bromopheniramine is similar to that of chlorpheniramine
3. Used as an anti-allergic drug
1. Rhinitis: It is effective for perennial allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, and can also be used for nasal mucosal congestion and sinusitis caused by respiratory tract infection.
2. Skin and mucous membrane allergy: It is mainly used for allergic diseases of skin and mucous membrane, such as angioedema, hay fever, allergic conjunctivitis, etc., and can relieve skin itch and edema caused by insect sting dermatitis and contact dermatitis.
