The Introductction of Hydrocortisone

Hydrocortisone, abbreviated as HC, also known as Cortisol, is an important adrenal glucocorticoid, whose chemical name is 11β,17α,21-trihydroxypregn-4-ene-3,20-dione, and its pharmacological action is to act on the target cells through diffusion, bind to its receptor, and form steroi*-receptor complexes.The activated steroi*-receptor complexes The activated steroi*-receptor complex acts as an activator of gene transcription and binds to specific sequential strands on DNA in the form of a dimer to regulate gene transcription, increase the production of mRNA and use it as a template to synthesize the corresponding proteins, which realize the physiological and pharmacological effects of steroi* hormones in the target cells.
