The Introductction of Bacitracin Zinc Premix

Bacitracin Zinc Premix is a light yellow to light brownish yellow complex with zinc ion.
It has good antibacterial activity against most Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Clostridium and Corynebacterium, and it is also effective against Actinomyces and Spirochetes. It is rarely resistant to sensitive bacteria.
Bacitracin (bacitracin, bacitracin zinc and bacitracin methylene salicylate) is used as a drug feed additive for growth promotion in many animals, and is often used in combination with antibacterial drugs with anti-Gram-negative properties (e.g. mucin and neomycin).
Zinc bacitracin is mainly used clinically to promote animal growth and treat bacterial diarrhea in livestock and haemodysentery in pigs caused by dense spirochetes.
 

Drug Interaction:

1. There is a synergistic effect between zinc bacitracin and penicillin, streptomycin, neomycin and mucomycin.
2. The combination of Bacitracin Zinc Premix and mucomycin has antagonistic effects with oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline, guillamycin, enramycin, virginiamycin and quinol.

The Application & Function of Bacitracin Zinc Premix

Specification: 100g: 10g (400,000 units); 100g: 15g (600,000 units)

Indications:
It is used to promote the growth of cattle, pigs and poultry and improve the utilization of feed.

Usage & dosage:
--- Specification 10%
Mixing: per 1000kg of feed, 100~1000g for calves under 3 months of age, 40~400g for pigs under 6 months of age, 40~400g for pigs under 6 months of age; 40~400g for poultry under 16 weeks of age.

--- Specification 15%
Mixed feeding: per 1000kg of feed, 70-700g for calves under 3 months of age, 30-300g for pigs under 3-6 months of age, 30-300g for pigs under 6 months of age; 30-300g for poultry under 16 weeks of age.
