The Introductction
The Application & Function
NETILMICIN is a derivative of the aminoglycoside antibiotic fusamycin. The antibacterial spectrum was similar to gentamicin, tobramycin, fusamycin and amikacin, but it was more effective against Staphylococcus aureus and intestinal bacteria, and less effective against pseudomonas aeruginosa and Provisdensis. Its biggest advantage is that its toxicity to auditory nerve and kidney is less than that of aminoglycoside antibiotics commonly used in clinic, and it is highly effective against gentamicin-resistant intestinal bacteria and pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is used for respiratory system infection, skin soft tissue infection, urinary system infection, wound infection, bone and joint infection, postpartum infection, gastrointestinal and biliary tract infection, sepsis, etc.
The antibacterial profile is similar to gentamicin. The characteristic of this product is that it is stable to aminoglycoside acetyltransferase AAC(3). This product is sensitive to strains that produce this enzyme and are resistant to kanamycin, gentamicin, tobramycin, cisomitacin, etc. It is mainly used for infection of respiratory tract, digestive tract, urinary and reproductive system, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint, abdominal cavity and wound caused by gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Enterobacter, Citric bacillus, serratia bacillus, Haemophilus influenzae, Salmonella, Shigella bacillus, Neisseria and so on. It is also suitable for sepsis.
