Clindamycin is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula C18H33ClN2O5S and molecular weight of 424.98. Clindamycin is an antibiotic, mainly used for abdominal and gynecological infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, and it is the preferred treatment for Staphylococcus aureus osteomyelitis.
