The Introductction of PGE1 Prostaglandin E1
Alprostadil, also known as prostaglandin E1(PGE1), is extracted by an enzymatic process using sheep seminal vesicles and evening primrose oil as starting materials.
PGE1 is a bioactive substance widely present in the body and treats diabetic neuropathy by the following mechanisms.
1, Improve hemodynamics, by increasing the CAMP content in vascular smooth muscle cells, exerting its vasodilating effect and reducing peripheral resistance.
