The introduction of Azithromycin
Azithromycin is an antibiotic widely used in clinic. It has the advantages of wide antibacterial spectrum, small gastrointestinal irritation and fast oral absorption. It is used by adults and children. Azithromycin has less side effects than cephalosporins
Application of Azithromycin
1. It is used for acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, sinusitis, acute otitis media, acute bronchitis and acute attack of chronic bronchitis caused by sensitive bacteria.
