Gentamycin Sulfate is aminoglycoside antibiotics, has bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect on a variety of Gram-negative bacteria and gram-positive bacteria. It has better effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Proteus and other gram-negative bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus. For Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, bacillus, Klebsiella,deformation caused by bacteria and other sensitive bacterial sepsis, respiratory tract infection, biliary tract infection, suppurativeperitonitis, intracranial infection, urinary tract infection and bacillary dysentery.
Application & Function of Gentamicin
1. Gentamicin is suitable for the treatment of neonatal sepsis and sepsis caused by sensitive bacteria.
2. Gentamicin is suitable for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, peritonitis, biliary tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
3. Gentamicin is suitable for the treatment of genitourinary system infections caused by sensitive bacteria (except for initial treatment of simple urinary tract infections).
4. Gentamicin is suitable for the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections and burn infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
5. Oral gentamicin can be used to prepare for intestinal infection or colon surgery
6. Intramuscular injection of gentamicin and clindamycin or metronidazole can be used to reduce the incidence of infection after colon surgery.
