Niclosamide is an anti-intestinal worm agent.
Function:
This product is not easily absorbed by oral administration and maintains a high concentration in the intestine. It can kill the cephalic and proximal segments of tapeworms. It is clinically used to repel beef tapeworms, pork tapeworms and brevihymenium tapeworms, and its efficacy is more significant than that of betel nut and pumpkin seeds. It can kill snails and schistosomiasis cercariae and cariae at the concentration of 0.2 ~ 0.5 parts per million with the body surface area of 1g/m2. This product is harmless to warm-blooded animals and plants, but is toxic to fish. It can also be used as a coating to prevent acute schistosomiasis infection and rice field dermatitis.
