Sulfaclozine is an effective sulfonamide derivative with antibacterial and coccidioidal effects..
(1) "Poultry sulfaclopyrazine has similar characteristics to sulfaquinoxaline in the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry, and has stronger antibacterial effects, even in the treatment of avian cholera and chicken typhoid. Therefore, it is most suitable for the treatment of outbreaks of coccidiosis.".
The use of sulfaclopyrazine does not affect the host's immunity to coccidia.
