Acyclovir, a synthetic purine nucleoside analogue with chemical formula C8H11N5O3, is mainly used for various infections caused by herpes simplex virus, and can be used for primary or recurrent skin, mucous membrane, external genital infection and immune deficiency patients with HSV infection. It is the first choice for the treatment of HSV encephalitis, which is superior to adenosine arabine in reducing morbidity and mortality. It can also be used for herpes zoster, Epstein-Barr virus, and chickenpox infection in people with immune deficiency.
Function:
1.Herpes simplex virus infection: oral administration for primary and recurrent cases of reproductive herpes virus infection, oral administration for prevention of recurrent cases. Injections are used for immunocompromised patients. Treatment of primary and recurrent mucosal skin infections and prevention of recurrent cases; It is also used to treat herpes simplex encephalitis.
