The Introductction of Tropicamide :
Topicamide is an anticholinergic drug. It is a white crystalline powder at room temperature. It is odorless and slightly soluble in water. It is easily soluble in ethanol, dilute sulfuric acid. It can block the excitation of iris chemical Book sphincter and ciliary muscle caused by acetylcholine. Its 0.5% solution can cause mydriasis; 1% solution can cause ciliary muscle paralysis and mydriasis. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat dribbling mydriasis and regulating paralysis.
