The Introductction of Toltrazuril
Tortazuril, a triazinone compound, is a new broad-spectrum specific anti coccidiosis drug.
Toltrazuril is a white or almost white crystalline powder; Odorless.
Toltrazuril is dissolved in ethyl acetate or dichloromethane, slightly soluble in methanol, and insoluble in water.
Toltrazuril is an anti protozoan drug that acts on coccidiosis parasites. Toltrazuril induced changes in the fine structure of coccidia during development, mainly due to swelling of endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus and abnormalities in the surrounding nuclear space, which interfered with nuclear division. Toltrazuril causes the decrease of respiratory enzymes of parasites.
The Application & Function of Toltrazuril
Toltrazuril is used to treat poultry coccidiosis.
Toltrazuril is toxic to chickens, Brucella, giant, tender, and Eimeria pallidum; Eimeria glandular and Eimeria turkeys; And goose Amy ball of goose. Both Eimeria truncata and Eimeria truncata had good inhibitory effect.
