The Introductction of Atropine Sulfate Monohydrate :
Atropine sulfate is an anticholinergic drug, used for the treatment of gastrointestinal tract, biliary colic, dilated pupil examination, optometry, keratitis, organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, septic shock and other syndromes. Its storage condition is easy to absorb moisture, storage temperature 0-8°C. It binds to the M choline receptor and counteracts the muscarinic effect of acetylcholine and other choline mimics. It mainly relieves the spasm of smooth muscle, suppresses the secretion of glands, relieves the inhibition of the vagus nerve to the heart, makes the heartbeat speed up, disperses the big pupil, elevates the intraocular pressure; Excite the respiratory center.
The Application & Function of Atropine Sulfate Monohydrate :
Anticholinergic drug, used for gastrointestinal tract, biliary colic, dilated pupil examination optometry, keratitis, organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, septic shock and other syndromes treatment.
1. Atropine produces many effects in the body, including relief from spasms of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach and intestines), the bladder, and the biliary tract. This is helpful in controlling conditions such as colitis, spastic bladder, diverticulitis, infant colic, renal and biliary colic, peptic ulcer, and irritable bowel syndrome.
2.Atropine also reduces the secretions of many organs, thereby helping to control conditions such as excessive stomach acid production and excessive secretion from the pancreas; to reduce secretions of the nose, lungs, salivary glands, and stomach before surgery; and to help dry up excessive mucus production associated with diseases, infections, and allergies.
3.Atropine is used to treat the rigidity, tremor, excessive salivation, and sweating caused by Parkinson's disease.
4.Atropine also has effects on the heart. It is used during surgery to maintain proper heart function, during emergencies involving the heart, and to treat certain heart disorders.
5.Atropine is used to control laughing and crying episodes that are caused by brain tumors.
6.Atropine also has effect on the eyes and is available in an ophthalmic (eye) formulation.
