Povidone Iodine is a loose chemical complex formed by the combination of elemental iodine and polymer support, while Povidone impacted acts as a carrier and AIDS the solution. It is yellowish-brown to brownish red amorphous powder at room temperature. Slightly smelly, easily soluble in water or ethanol, aqueous solution is acidic, insoluble in ether, chloroform, acetone, ethane and carbon tetrachloride. Povidone iodine solution without iodine tincture has the disadvantages of light staining, easy elution, little mucosal irritation, no need for ethanol deiodization, no corrosion, and low toxicity.
Function:
It is a broad-spectrum disinfectant with strong bactericidal effect on virus, bacteria, fungus and mold spores. This product has little skin irritation, low toxicity and long-lasting effect.
