Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. The product has good antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus (methicillin-sensitive strain), CORyNEbacterium, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus and other ENTERobacteriaceae bacteria, but poor activity on Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, ENTERococcus and other groups. Pseudomonas aeruginosa and anaerobic bacteria are resistant to this product. The bacteria had partial or complete cross-resistance to streptomycin, neomycin, kanamycin and gentamicin. Systemic neomycin has significant nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity, so it is limited to oral or topical use.
Function:
Neomycin sulfate has a good antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, paratEScherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus generalis, Pneumococcus, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, meningococcus, Lactobacillus, Gonococcus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella typhi and Salmonella enteritidis.The activity of Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Enterococcus was inhibited in each group.
