Terbinafine hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug for dermatological use in the arylamine class.


Terbinafine hydrochloride (chemical name (E)-N-(6,6-dimethyl-2-hepten-4-yn)-N-methyl-1-naphthylamine hydrochloride) is a highly effective, low-toxicity broad-spectrum antifungal drug, which is an allylamine antifungal drug developed on the basis of naphthol, for highly selective inhibition of fungal squalene ring oxidase, so that the fungal cell membrane Squalene ring reaction is blocked in the process of fungal cell membrane formation, and the formation of fungal cells is destroyed to kill or inhibit fungal effects

 

Terbinafine hydrochloride can specifically disturb the late biodegradation of fungal sterols, selectively inhibit the activity of fungal squalene ring oxidase, so that the fungal cell membrane formation process of squalene ring oxidation reaction is blocked, so as to kill or inhibit the role of fungus.
