The Introductction of Resveratrol

Resveratrol is an anthraquinone terpenoid, mainly derived from the rhizome extract of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. The root and rhizome of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. contain free anthraquinone and anthraquinone glycosides, mainly rhodopsin, rhodopsin methyl ethe*, rhodopsin, anthraquinone A and anthraquinone B. It also contains resveratrol, Resveratrol and anthraquinone glycosides. It also contains resveratrol, resveratrol glucoside, protocatechuic acid, dextrocatechin, cassia-8-glucoside, β-sitosterol glucoside, as well as glucose, rhamnose, gingerose, amino acids, tannins and copper, iron, manganese, zinc, potassium and potassium salts.

Resveratrol is a natural antioxidant with significant antioxidant activity against both animal and plant fats. Among the three oil samples with resveratrol concentrations of 120, 240 and 360 mg/kg, the 240 mg/kg oil sample showed the strongest antioxidant activity.
