The Introductction of Synephrine hydrochloride

The molecular structure of Synephrine hydrochloride contains both phenolic hydroxyl and amino groups, so Synflorin is amphoteric in nature and can be combined with acids and bases to form salts. The free simferlin is soluble in organic solvents and insoluble in water, while its acid and base salts are soluble in water and insoluble in organic solvents.

Synephrine hydrochloride has the effect of constricting blood vessels and producing elevated blood pressure. Synflorin has a strong effect of dilating the trachea and bronchi. Intravenous administration to anesthetized cats completely counteracts histamine-induced bronchoconstriction, and has the same effect on the isolated trachea of guinea pigs.

Synephrine hydrochloride is used clinically for the treatment of bronchial asthma and hypotension, deficiency and shock during surgery and anesthesia, postural hypotension, etc.

Because of the adrenergic stimulating effect of Synephrine hydrochloride, administration of Citrus aurantium extract should be avoided in patients with severe hypertension, tachyarrhythmias, narrow-angle glaucoma, and recipients of monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Synephrine hydrochloride can cause periodic migraines and primary headaches.

The Application & Function of Synephrine hydrochloride

Synephrine hydrochloride can be used as an antihypertensive agent, for shock, for heart failure, for the treatment of bronchial asthma and bottom blood pressure during surgery and anesthesia, deficiency and shock, body and position hypotension, etc.; alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist, vasoconstrictor, etc.

1. Cardiovascular effects
Synephrine hydrochloride, administered intravenously, can significantly enhance a variety of indicators of myocardial contractility and pumping function in anesthetized dogs, with cardiac strength, vasoconstriction, increase total peripheral resistance, while the effect of left ventricular pressure and arterial blood pressure rise.

2. Effects on weight loss
The mechanism of action of Synephrine hydrochloride as a weight loss promoter is the stimulation of β-3 adrenergic receptors and the subsequent thermogenic effect of lipolysis.

3. Effects on blood pressure
Pharmacologically Synephrine hydrochloride was used as a decongestant to treat hypotension by oral form.

4. Effects on diabetes mellitus
Synephrine hydrochloride has the effect of enhancing the antioxidant capacity of the liver and reducing hepatocellular damage.
