The Introductction of Sulfadiazine :
Sulfadiazine is a sulfonamide anti-infective drug commonly used in clinical practice in my country, also known as sulfadiazine, diazine, and the molecular structure of sulfadiazine is similar to p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), which can compete with PABA to act in bacteria Dihydrofolate synthase, which prevents PABA as a raw material from synthesizing folic acid required by bacteria, reducing the amount of metabolically active tetrahydrofolate, which is used by bacteria to synthesize purine, thymidine and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) essential substances, thus inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Sulfadiazine is effective against Hemolytic Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Meningococcus, Pneumococcus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Escherichia coli, Shigella, and other sensitive bacteria, as well as Chlamydia trachomatis, Actinomyces, Plasmodium, Nocardia stellaris and Toxoplasma gondii, etc. Microorganisms have inhibitory effects.
