The Introductction of Pefloxacin :
Pefloxacin, also known as norfloxacin, mefloxacin or pifloxacin, is a widely used western medicine and belongs to the third-generation quinolone antibiotics. A broad-spectrum antibacterial effect. Its antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial activity are similar to norfloxacin, and it is commonly used for sepsis, bacterial meningitis, respiratory, urinary tract, kidney, hepatobiliary diseases, gynecological diseases, and bone and joint infections.
The Application & Function of Pefloxacin :
Pefloxacin, a third-generation quinolone antibacterial drug, has a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, and its antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial activity are similar to norfloxacin.
It inhibits or kills bacteria by interfering with DNA replication and bacterial protein synthesis. It has a strong antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus, and has a very strong antibacterial effect on a variety of gram-negative bacteria and strains resistant to ampicillin and TMP cephalosporins. It is as effective as the third-generation cephalosporins on intestinal bacteria. But it has poor effect on anaerobic bacteria, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Clostridium. Not easy to develop resistance. For sepsis, bacterial meningitis, respiratory tract, urethra, kidney, hepatobiliary, gynecological diseases, bone and joint infections
