The Introductction of Diclofenic Sodium
Diclofenic Sodium is white crystalline powder. Melting point 283-285ºC, free acid melting point 156-158ºC.
Diclofenic sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with a rapid onset of action, mainly producing analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins.
Diclofenic sodium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, has obvious analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. It produces analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects by blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins through the inhibition of cyclooxygenase. Its effect is 2~2.5 times stronger than indomethacin and 26~50 times stronger than acetylsalicylic acid. It is characterized by strong potency, mild adverse effects, small doses and little individual variation.
The drug binds 99.7% of plasma protein and has a half-life of 1~2 hours. There is no accumulation when administered at recommended doses and intervals. The drug is metabolized by the liver and approximately 60% of the therapeutic amount of metabolites are excreted from the kidneys, with less than 1% of the drug in its original form being excreted. The remainder of the dose is excreted as a metabolite in the bile into the intestine and cleared from the feces.
