The Introductction of Terbinafine Hydrochloride:

 

Terbinafine·HCl a member of the allylamine class of antifungals, has been found to be a specific inhibitor of ergosterol synthesis via squalene epoxidase inhibition. Squalene epoxidase is an enzyme released by the dermatophyte fungi to break down Squalene,which interferes with cell membrane function and wall synthesis. Research has shown that Terbinafine also reduces the ability of fungal pathogens to generate reactive oxygen species, therefore it is noted as a free radical scavenger in vitro and could potentially contain anti-inflammatory activity in vivo.

 

The Application & Function of Terbinafine Hydrochloride:

 

Terbinafine hydrochloride is an allylamine broad-spectrum antifungal drug. Its mechanism of action is that it can specifically interfere with the early biosynthesis of fungal sterol, and highly selectively inhibit the ergostene cyclooxygenase of fungi. During the formation of fungal cell membrane, the epoxidation reaction of ergosterol is blocked, which interferes with the early biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungi, so as to kill or inhibit fungi Use.

 

Terbinafine hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder; it is easily soluble in methanoI, soluble in ethanol or chloroforN, slightly soluble in propylen glycol and slightly soluble in water. Terbinafine hydrochloride is widely used in the treatment of various skin fungal infections (tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis), Candida (such as Candida albicans) and nail fungal infections. It has a wide range of applications, good efficacy, good tolerance and mild adverse reactions;
