The Introductction of Penicillin G potassium:

Benzylpenicillin potassium (Penicillin G potassium) is the potassium salt form of penicillin G, which is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic.

Penicillin potassium is also known as bianpenicillin and bianpenicillin G potassium salt. This product is a white crystalline powder, odorless or slightly odorless, and hygroscopic. Easily soluble in water, physiological saline, and glucose solution. The aqueous solution is prone to failure when placed at room temperature, and quickly fails when exposed to acids, alkalis, and oxidants.

Penicillin has a good antibacterial effect on Streptococcus such as hemolytic streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Staphylococcus that does not produce penicillinase. It has a moderate antibacterial effect on enterococci. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheria, Actinomyces bovis, Streptobacter candida, Listeria, Leptospira and Treponema pallidum are sensitive to this product.
